Privacy Policy

1. The short version

• I do not require a LAK Games account and do not ask players for their name, phone number, address, contacts, photos or precise location.
• I do not collect payment-card or bank-account details. In-game purchases are processed by the store or platform where you play.
• I do not sell personal information and do not operate my own advertising profiles.
• Games may contain advertising and optional in-game purchases. Platforms, advertising providers and payment processors may automatically process technical, usage, purchase and advertising data under their own privacy policies.
• If you contact me, I receive the contact details and information that you choose to include in your message.

2. Who is responsible for data

For information that I directly receive and control, the data controller is Vladimir Saponenko, operating under the name LAK Games. You can contact me at mail@lak.games.

A game portal, app store, advertising provider, payment processor or video provider may separately decide how and why it processes information. In that situation, the third party acts under its own privacy policy, and requests about data held only by that party should be sent directly to it.

3. Information I may receive directly

Messages and support requests. If you email me or contact me through a public profile, I may receive your email address or account name, the content of your message, attachments you choose to send, and information needed to investigate a technical problem.

Limited platform reports. A distribution platform may give me aggregated or pseudonymous reports such as game sessions, retention, general country or region, device or browser type, operating system, crash information, gameplay events, advertising totals and purchase status. I use these reports to maintain and improve the games and do not try to identify individual players.

Purchase support information. When necessary to validate or troubleshoot a purchase, I may receive a product identifier, transaction identifier, amount and currency, time, platform account reference, and whether the transaction succeeded or was refunded. I do not receive your full card number or payment credentials.

4. Information processed by platforms and advertising providers

Depending on where you play, the platform or its advertising and analytics partners may process an IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, cookie or device identifiers, consent choices, language, game activity, ad impressions, ad interactions, purchase records and fraud-prevention signals.

This processing can be necessary to deliver the game, save progress, show leaderboards, measure performance, prevent fraud, process purchases, limit repeated ads, and show contextual or personalized advertising where local law and your consent allow it. I may receive aggregated reporting from these services, but I do not receive their complete user profiles.

5. This website

Lak.games is a static portfolio website. I do not run first-party analytics, registration forms or my own advertising cookies on this site. Standard server logs may be created by the hosting provider for security and delivery purposes.

The website contains external links and YouTube videos embedded in Privacy Enhanced Mode. When an embedded video loads or you follow an external link, the third-party service may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Its own privacy policy then applies.

6. Why information is used

• to provide, operate, test and improve games;
• to save progress or enable platform features where available;
• to process and support optional in-game purchases;
• to display, measure and protect advertising;
• to diagnose crashes, prevent abuse and keep services secure;
• to answer support messages and exercise or defend legal rights; and
• to comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving the games, consent for certain advertising or storage technologies, or compliance with law. You may withdraw consent through the relevant platform or consent settings where that option is available.

7. Sharing and sale of information

I do not sell or rent personal information. I may share information that I directly control only with service providers needed to host the website, deliver support, maintain the games, prevent fraud, comply with law, or protect users and my legal rights. These providers may process information only for the relevant service and subject to their contractual or legal duties.

Advertising partners may use data collected through their platform for interest-based advertising where permitted. Some privacy laws describe certain advertising disclosures as “sharing” even when no money is paid for the data. Advertising choices and opt-outs are provided by the platform, consent notice, browser or device settings used to access the game.

8. Third-party services

The services used for a particular game depend on where it is published. Relevant policies may include:

• Yandex Games: Yandex Privacy Policy;
• Poki: Poki Privacy Center;
• YouTube embeds: Google Privacy Policy; and
• any other store, portal, advertising network or payment processor identified in the game or on the page where you play it.

Please review the privacy controls and policy shown by the platform you use, as its practices may differ by country, age and consent choice.

9. Children’s privacy

Some LAK Games titles may be suitable for a general or family audience, but the games do not require children to create a LAK Games account, submit contact details, upload content or use an in-game chat operated by me. I do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Platforms and advertising providers are responsible for their age, consent and advertising controls. I use the audience and child-safety settings made available to developers for the relevant title. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information directly to me can email mail@lak.games. I will review the request and delete the information where required.

10. Retention and security

Support correspondence is normally kept only while needed to resolve the request and for no longer than 24 months after the last communication, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes. Purchase records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for validation, support and legal obligations. Aggregated information that no longer identifies a person may be retained for game analysis.

I use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the limited information I handle. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Platforms and other third parties determine their own retention periods and security measures.

11. International processing

Games are available internationally, and platforms or service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Those providers are responsible for using any transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable law. Their policies provide more detail about where they operate.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; and complain to your local data-protection authority. You will not be discriminated against for making a valid privacy request.

Send requests concerning information that I control to mail@lak.games. I may need limited information to verify the request. If the information is held only by a game platform, advertising provider or payment processor, I will direct you to that provider because I may not be able to access or delete it myself.

13. Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy when a game, platform, legal requirement or data practice changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted in the game or on the website when reasonably possible.
